Grant Bevan
|
BMR Owner/Manager Grant started life on a dairy farm. He left the farm to take up an apprenticeship at Muja Power Station, and then spent a number of years travelling Australia, working as he went in fabrication, building and engineering. From helping to put a roof on a Broome Iceworks shed to servicing generators in remote communities, Grant developed a wide range of experience and skills before returning to the South West.
After some years working for Geographe Replacement Parts in Busselton and Perth, he worked as a subcontractor until he was approached by a mechanical purchasing officer from Iluka to take on some work repairing gearboxes and pumps. Grant soon after gained more clients, established a workshop and built BMR Engineering into a thriving business. |
